North Ottawa Community Health System is committed to meeting and preferably, exceeding, your expectations.  Positive and negative feedback on your impressions of our facilities and experiences of care, service and staff are very important and encouraged. 

Compliments on exceptional service help us recognize and reward staff.  Complaints provide a foundation and process for improving your care, and the care of patients that follow you.  Additionally, suggestions are welcome as that provides us with your ideas on how to improve. 

Should you be dissatisfied or exceptionally satisfied with any aspect of your experience, please tell us.  All feedback is made in confidence and is not recorded in your medical record.

Each day, Department Leaders make rounds on the patient care units.  During this time, they welcome your feedback.  If you have an immediate question or concern about your care, please do not hesitate to let us know.  We are committed to making things right.  We value you as a patient and are always looking for ways to improve our services for all our patients. 

Another way we continually improve patient service is to conduct telephone surveys after discharge.  We have contracted with Arbor Associates Inc., an independent research firm, to survey patient satisfaction.  If you receive a call from Arbor, we would greatly appreciate your taking a few minutes to answer the confidential survey.
